Adding Panels (and Optimisers?)

    Hi all

4.2 kw East facing and 1.4 Kw West facing since last August. Thinking about options for increasing Winter output as my E/W experience from October - Feb was mediocre enough.

I am starting to think about adding 6 additional South facing panels and putting them on the same string as the West Panels to the Inverter (6 Kw Solis).

PVGIS suggests 2 mWh additional with these additional panels and it seems to be accurate to within 10% on my current setup so far for forecasting.

I'd welcome advice/suggestions and also a view on whether I would need optimisers on 1 or both orientations?
