Downsizing Case

I'm looking at downsizing my case. I currently have a Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 rev.2 and while it's a really great case, it's massive and quite heavy.

I don't want to have to replace any components, so here's what I have:
    • Noctua NH-U14S CPU cooler w/ extra Noctua NF-A15 fan
    • Gigabyte Aorus Z390 ELITE motherboard
    • Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity GPU
    • Corsair HX750 PSU

Besides this a couple SSDs. Is there any much smaller case I can do a straight swap into? I guess it's the GPU here that's the biggest component.

Thought as much :( Bad time to try rebuilding!

Yeah a full atx board and a long GPU aren't going to be easy to squeeze in any case, even a lot of mid-size atx cases won't be a good fit. You might be able to squeeze into something like the Meshify C from Fractal but even then your GPU is a few mm too long so might have to remove a front fan

I guess the alternative is get a new ITX mobo and SFX PSU?

    I wouldn't trust most SFX PSUs with a 3090.

But those ATX cases above are nearly half the size of your case.

Going from a Fractal Design Define R6 to be quiet 500DX I could appreciate the reduction.

Depends how small you want to go, as KOKiki says there's smaller full sized atx cases, or else you could go m-atx and use a fractal define mini c, you make the be tight for space as the gpu clearance is 315mm but it might fit.

There's a few builds over on https://reddit.com/r/sffpc with 3090s in tiny builds, but to be honest the tradeoff in thermals and the fact you're limited to 750w SFX power supplies are a bit ropey.

I had a busy afternoon, did some more searching and settled on a Lian-Li TU150 Silver. And since I need a new mobo anyway I may have also ordered a new CPU too :o. But I'll bring the GPU and drives over from my existing build!

Antec make good cases. May be worth considering.

Well looks like I'll have a shell of a PC to sell on, what sort of price should I be looking for?

2 years old, moderate usage, great condition:

    - Dark Base Pro 900 Rev.2 w/stock fans.
    - Intel Core i9-9900K CPU.
    - Noctua NH-U14S CPU cooler w/ extra Noctua NF-A15 fan.
    - Gigabyte Aorus Z390 ELITE motherboard.
    - Corsair HX750 PSU.
    - Crucial Ballistix Sport AT Gray 16GB DDR4 3200MHz x2.
    - 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SSD.
    - Blu-Ray RW Drive.
    - NO GPU or extra cables/parts left over from build.
