Hi i was wondering if you would be able to give me some advice. I am looking at buying a house. Permission was granted in 1980 to build the house excluding garden sheds. Does that mean planning is needed to put a shed on the property or is it still exempt from planning ?

    Thanks

What are you quoting from ? Sounds like an engineer's report on the property ?

You don't get permission to "exclude" items.

Are you saying there is a planning condition to never allow any shed on site? Because I highly doubt any such condition was included

The original planning could have been granted with a condition that de-exempts the exemptions. Basically sheds on the site need planning.

I’ve gotten a few over the years.
