I have a 10 teat feeder, no compartments. What is the best detergent to use to clean it? We don't have cows so I don't have milking machine detergent. Calf to beef system & first year using the feeder. Thanks

I rared calves one year, had them on o.a.d feeding, id rinse out the feeder, water through the teats and just leave Milton in it while I cleaned up, then air dry, never had any sickness from it or anything, there could be a better way but that's just what I did, would scald the teats with the kettle before I fed them, just made sure there was no disinfectant in the teats before I fed them and that was about it

A good rinse and then hot water and a bit of washing up liquid. Once it's not left build up there's no fear.

Thanks to you all for the replies. I'll give it a shot of Milton, good hot water & soak for a while ðŸ‘
