Hi All, don't know if I'm putting this in the right place but I'm looking to get 4 tyres fitted that I purchased online around Carlow.

I have rang a couple of places near me. One said they used to do them but couldn't help me now and the other said they will fit them but wasn't able to give me a final price or time (I have to ring back tomorrow).

Could anyone give me name of some places that they think would fit them or recommendations that I could contact ?

Thank you in advance for your help. :o

Hiya Biko. Sorry about that. I did try them. The gentleman I was speaking with on the phone was very sympathetic and apologised but they no longer do them. I rang Devoys Garage on the Tullow Road and they are the one's I'm to ring back tomorrow.

Bad form that they make you feel like a beggar to get some tyres fitted. The last time I got tyres fitted he was huffing and puffing like a big baby that I didn't buy his ditch finders yet if you ask them to get you a certain type of tyre they won't do it... Hopefully you'll get sorted tomorrow.

Looks like village tyres and cork tyre specialists are listed on tyreleaders website so i'd say they will do them, list price drom 40 euro a tyre https://fitting.tyreleader.ie/search?lat=&lng=&query=cork&radius=20&felgen=&mont%5B%5D=f&mont%5B%5D=m

There's a mobile tyre fitter in Timolin, SK tyre fitting, I don't have his number, google with find it for you, he will fit them at your house

Much easier to buy your tyres online with blackcircles.ie and you pick a fitter from their list and the prices are all in no hidden costs, great choice of tyres for every budget on that site.

Thanks Jeepcj, I was looking for somewhere a little bit closer to Carlow than Cork. ;)

As I said the gentleman I spoke to in JW tyres was very polite over the phone , so I have no issues with him simply not wanting to do the job.

Thanks for all the reply's and suggestions. I got it sorted anyway. I was speaking with my brother and he has used a company in Kilkenny before. I rang them this evening and I have the car booked in for Saturday morning. Costing €17 per tyre. (Tyreland out the Callan road for anyone interested and the tyres are R17)
