ICBF Query

I bought two August 2020 born heifers. When I look them up on ICBF, it says they are 100% Herford.

What does this mean, I doubt it means that they are pure bred?

They could be purebreds and not registered.
    Do they look like purebreds?
You can look up their pedigree on ICBF to see back three generations.
