Issues with android on wifi?

I seem to remember this happening before, but just changed my wifes p20 pro for a p40 pro, and for some reason the p40 has an issue on our home wifi (unifi set up with plenty of access points). Its like its failing to resolve dns or something, if i take it off wifi and onto mobile data works fine. Her p20 pro works fine…

For example logging into my fitness pal hangs for ages on the p40 or searching for a podcast on spotify.

Is there any common issue i could look into?
