or Sky Multi Channels as was it's official name.

    Including the German channels.

I Remember these channels when we went to visit my uncle & aunt in Ardee, Louth every year.

    Sky One
    Sky 2
    Sky Movies
    The Movie Channel
    Sky Movie Gold
    Disney Channel
    Fox Kids
    Living
    Discovery
    QVC
    Sky Sports 1,2, 3 ( and I think Gold)
    Trouble
    Nickelodeon
    Euro Business News
    Sky News
    Eurosport
    CH5
    Paramount
    Bravo
    UK Gold
    UK Men & Motors
    MTV
    VH1
    TCC
    History
    Sky Travel
    Sky Soap
    Learning Channel
    HSN direct
    Granada Good
Granada Plus (I'm not sure if that was like todays 1+ channels)
    Animal Planet
    Sky Scotttish
I think they had BBC & ITV channels on them??
I think there was about 10 German channels but ZDF, VOX & RTL

Plus Sky Box Office. I remember the first Box Office event was called Night of Champions with boxing light, feather, middle, super-middle & heavy weight belts on the line. The most memorable thing was in the Lewis vs McCaul fight, Oliver McCaul refused to defend himself & started crying in the ring.

I think I;m missing only 3 or 4 Multichannels & about 5 or 6 German ones? I was I only around 10 or 11 in 1997I remember Cablelink had about 17 or 18 channels from the Multichannels (That was Cablelink with the 3 Sky Sports & Movie Channels along with Disney)

Sorry, that tittle is worded very badly, I mean't basically how big did the Channel line up get on the old Sky Multi channels, I used to think there was around 70 or 80 channels, but clearly that wasn't the case, there seems to be around 25 official English language channels, with around 10 German channels. Is that correct or were the Italian & Spanish channels as well & Fox News + BBC World, is was that on 13e?

From memory I think it was around 30-32 Sky channels. Around 8-10 unencrypted German channels also available, Pro Sieben, ARTE and others. As the Sky Digital service took over more Sky channels came off analogue to enourage take up of the digital service.

Remember those sparklies on the tv when there was bad weather and signal got poor.
