Clarenbridge Garden Centre - they have 2 centres. One in Clarenbridge Gaway & the other in Kinsalebeg Co. Waterford (only 5 miles from Youghal) I dealt with waterford branch with a woman called Magda - very knowledgeable & great advice. Would highly recommend

I’m just after having a look, blown away by their stock, and everything is certified organic!! And prices seem to be €5 per plant. I’ve seen nurseries offering plants for €20 a pop this year due to pandemic and brexit so this is amazing value and for organic! Wow!

Anybody know of Irish suppliers of bedding plants for a little later in the year?

literally every single garden centre in Ireland sells bedding,
though best wait another few weeks for best products

And hardware shop and supermarket and farmers' market and petrol station...but not until into May for most things.

Its a UK supplier but my wife has just got a delivery from the UK based https://www.plant-world-seeds.com/ , so may be worth a try. Just don't blame me if you need max out your credit card on their stuff - they take PayPal.

Wake me up when it's all over.

A non-Irish one worth looking at is Barnhaven in northern France - they specialise in Primulas (including Irish primroses) and Hellebores, sell seeds and plants, and are deservedly world famous. Being in the EU there's no problem with delivery, and their stuff is top quality.
