Apologies if this is against any site rules, Mods please delete if appropriate.

I have a 2018 Giant Contend SL1 Disc, bought new a couple of years ago.
I would have been a fairly infrequent cyclist at the time but have been doing more this year with the lockdowns etc. Anyway the bike is probably a size too big for me (M/L) and I’m half considering replacing it by either trading it, selling it and/or using a BtW.
I’m just wondering what would be a reasonable price for such a bike if I was selling it privately ? It cost €1,300 new, and is in mint/excellent condition with less than 1,000km on it (984 to be exact !).

Thanks, and again, apologies Mods if that question isn’t allowed.

In normal times - you'd lose half of the value of a B2W bike as soon as you take it out of the shop - as many people buying would be better off buying new on their own B2W. But given short supply of these bikes, that is no longer the case.

I would say ask for 850 or so but be prepared to accept a little less. That is a nice bike, only thing that might let it down is the odd way Giant used to do the disc brakes.

    Thanks for that, appreciate it.
