Grundfos water pump in new build less than two years old. The pump keeps activating itself on and off intermittently all day.
I have switched the hot and cold water valves off for various periods of time ,however when I switch them back on the problem returns .

Does anyone know a plumber who specialises in Grundfos water pumps or any other fixes I should try.

If the pump is at fault then it should be still under warranty. Grundfos would have their own engineers for warranty work.

You could have a leak in your system if the pump is going all day. Is it in an apartment or house? Sometimes the toilet is hooked up to these in an apartment.

    Its in a house,new build.
Water pressure is insufficient to pump anything other than potable water in the kitchen off the mains.Hence the need for a pump for showers, baths, toilets and sinks .
Potable water comes in through the Kitchen sink and the water pump is connected to it also for the provision of hot water to the kitchen.

The pump activates itself intermittently. A few months ago I had the same problem and turned the hot and cold water valves off for about 20 mins and this solved the problem.
Unfortunately that fix is n,t working now.

If anyone knows a specialist in Grundhof X make , I would appreciate any info. The X after Grundhof is curved downward on the top left side of the X.
All the other Grundhofs I have seen online have some serial no. associated with them ,but the X is the only identifying feature of this particular brand of Grundhof.

I had the same problem with a grundfos pump. Turned out the flow meter was fecked. Plumber fitted a new flow meter for me. Think it cost about €140

You most likely need someone to look at your plumbing, not the pump.
If you say that you are shutting off the hot and cold valves on the outlet of the pump and the pump stays Off, then the issue is not with the pump. The pump is reacting to an issue elsewhere.
Check your toilet cistern water filling valves that they are shutting off completely and not dripping and check for water dripping into the toilet bowl if the toilet has not been used for several hours.
Also double check all taps to ensure none are dripping.
Shut off one outlet valve at a time. Whichever valve when off that stops the pump will help narrow down the cause.

we had an issue where a shower in spare bedroom was airlocked and kept activating the pump by back pressure, we ran the shower for 2 mins and problem solved.

Have you checked all taps/showers etc.. using the pump for airlocks?
