Broadband in my shed

    Hi All,
I have SIRO FTTH. I am using a vodafone router. One of the LAN connections at the rear is going to my vodafone TV box in the sitting room. I am installing a shed and want to have good WIFI in ot. I already have a unifi Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-LITE WLAN access point. It's using POE and this AP provides good coverage around the house but the signal is weak where I'm putting the shed and would like to have something similar in the shed.
The router is at the front of the house and it would be a real pain running a LAN cable from here.
Would it be possible to somehow continue on from where the AP is located in the ceiling toward the rear of the house? or is there a better way?

Run a cat6 or use the tp link extender or similar.

I ran a shielded cat6 up the soil pipe void, into and across my attic and down the back of the house contained in a uPVC downpipe and out to the shed inside a buried uPVC 32mm pipe alongside power and earth cable.

Terminated the cable onto a faceplate in the shed.
Then use a subnetted router out there for WiFi and devices in shed and garden.

You can POE power the AP or a switch where the AP is with a single run. If you can get power to the ceiling there then you could POE power the switch, AC power the AP and then run the next leg from there to the shed.

Move your Ubiquiti Unifi lite to the shed and get another Ubiquiti Unifi nano hd or Unifi LR for the house. You can use the second LAN port to supply the shed adding the Poe adapter in line

Can you explain this further? :) Wouldn't i need mains power to get to the switch in the attic somehow?

Yes you'll need power in the attic. You don't need a switch, the Unifi has a LAN port and each one comes with Poe adapter. Power the 1st Unifi on the ceiling in the house with a Poe adapter beside the router, power the Unifi in the shed from the attic with a Poe adapter.
