Hi Everyone, I've noticed that people seem to be at various stages of searching for a training contract and are posting on various threads on Boards. Due to this I thought it might be a good idea to create a single thread for people to share their experiences, tips and general advise particularly for applying to small and medium sized firms as the milk-rounds seems to get it's own thread towards the latter part of the year. Most people are probably busy at the moment with the FE-1s, including myself, so hopefully this thread becomes more useful once the exams are out of the way.

While applying for summer internships this year, a lot of applications would ask about any hobbies/interests I had. Realising that I didn't really had anything, I basically waffled that section. In preparation for the next round of applications I really want to take up an actually hobby so I could have something to write about. What sort of ones would people recommend?
