New router not seeing Nvr

Just changed broadband suppliers. Now using the eir fibre box 1A 1.0
It is saying no Ethernet connected at all.
Showing no Tx Rx leds on either end of cable.

I Know your thinking cable but I seen a very similar issue recently and I'm wondering if the newer routers have some new security feature.
The cable is in great shape and was working fine right up to the minute of router change.
I just know its not the cable, but will do more tests in the morning.

Maybe new router not delivering enough power, but 2A supply should be loads.

Just wondering if anyone else seeing similar issues.

    Thanks

Are you using a fixed IP on your NVR? Maybe the address range has changed with the new provider.

Definitely worth a look but pretty sure Dhcp is enabled. The old router would have had a reserved ip address alright but not the nvr.
Will have a closer look over the next few days.

    Thanks
