New i20 and i30 / Skoda Scala

In the market for a new smallish car. Looking at the 20 to 30k price range.
I wont be doing much mileage. Its really a luxury spend as I haven't had a car for many years. A nice interior is an important requirement.
I like the look of the new i20 and i30 as well as the Skoda Scala.
It obviously will be some time before I can take out some cars to test drive and I'm in the early stages of my research but would be interested to get some input from those on this forum..Any thoughts on these particular models or even any alternatives I should consider looking into?

The Scala is poor value for money for what you get IMO.

The last i20/i30 were the blandest of bland
Nothing wrong with that in itself

But if you're looking for a nice interior/luxury feel I would be looking elsewhere

I'd have a look at the new Leon too, dealers seem to have a few 211 1.0 TSI for 22/23K. The interior may not be to everyone's taste but I think this one looks well, especially with the digital dash.

Not a fan of the mini's unfortunately.
I didnt really look at the Peugeots either.. Have French cars improved a lot over the past ten years?
I just stumbled upon the new Peugeot 308 just now. It looks very very nice.

Looks a lovely car. It and the new 308.

Clio over the i20 any day. Excellent little car, unreal the engine and the RS Line looks fantastic.
