Fee to get State Contributory Pension

I live in Canada and receive a small contributory state pension every month from Ireland.
Just this month DSP changed their Banking from Bank of Ireland to Danske Bank.
Up to this point my pension was direct deposit into my Canadian account no fee charged.
Now with Danske Bank my pension is wire transferred with a $14 (10 euro) charged each month.
This works out to about a 5% surcharge on my pension.
This is highly unusual method for pension payment. I have friends from Germany and the UK and their pensions are direct deposit no fee charged.
Also a friend from Canada in Ireland who receives their Canadian state pension direct deposit (no fee charged).
I have queried this with DSP but am still awaiting a response.
I wonder if anyone else overseas is paying this additional cost?
