Requesting a new cabinet

    Hi Everyone,

    Just wondering if anyone was able to request a new cabinet to be installed within their neighborhood? Maybe a group was created in order to make push a new installation nearby...

    Our village is located in between 2 cabinet that are around 1Km from each. We are all covered with Fibre broadband but we don't get more than 12Mbs...

    From openeir website, it states the following:
    My local community is willing to raise funds in order to support open eir in delivering fibre broadband to our area. Is this something open eir would consider?
    open eir is committed to building a fibre network that will service 300,000 homes and businesses in rural Ireland as quickly as possible. All of our resources are currently dedicated to delivering this plan on time and unfortunately we cannot re-allocate them to offer this facility.

    Any advice more than welcome :)

    Assume I’d all you can get is 12mb you are included in NBI rollout

    VDSL MSANs days are numbered, no way they're putting one in now. As above, NBI is your fix in 0-5yrs.

    Would be great but it seems that it is going to take a good while before they even consider our area since there isn't any connections point planned within a 30Km radius
