Revenue Commissioners / Inland Revenue

I only ever knew irish taxation as Revenue Commissioners (and the UK equivalent as Inland Revenue) but recently during a probate situation I see forms entitled Inland Revenue - when did Revenue change to/form Inland Revenue ?…

I think the name of a particular form is called Inland Revenue?

It must be a historical name / usage.

The Irish revenue is officially The Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
UK Revenue is HMRC ,Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

The Inland Revenue Affidavit (Form CA24) was the name of the particular form.
