    Hi does anyone know how long you have to wait for surgery once you’ve had your appointment with the surgeon Just trying to get things organised and be good to know is it weeks months etc thanks in advance

    You'd be best off to contact the surgeon's office, varies wildly from dept to dept, procedure type etc. Should be a phone number on the letter you received for your appointment

    Hi thanks for your response I contacted the number but they said they only deal with original appointments and they wouldn’t know so was just hoping someone out there might have an idea it’s for gastric band removal as the band has eroded inside my stomach ☹️
