Im looking for someone at the moment to lay 28m2 of limestone patio on an existing concrete slab.

One guy has some back with a quote but is suggesting to use a dry mix of 10:1 ratio to lay the slabs on.

I cant find much online about this being a good idea. Most recommendations is to lay the slabs on a wet mix of 4:1 or 5:1 and to prime the back of the slabs.

    1. Is a dry mix a viable option?
    2. With a wet mix does both the concrete base and the limestone slab need to be primed?

Edit. Just spoke to the guy and that was a typo. He would use a 6:1 not 10:1
