Watched some of it alright. Seemed to be good money for what was liked and then fairly poor money if you didn’t have the numbers or breeding. Serious feeding in those bulls. Hard to know how they’d be able to work for their keep in a few weeks time.

The Lad that made €14k is some animal. Impressive numbers on icbf.

What do they do to recoup the money? Is it straight into AI?

His breeding goes back to Pelletstown Estelle. I've a cow here from that line.

I found the video quality very poor today with Martbids. The LSL covered marts have much better video quality.

Is that why you didn’t buy him? Afraid of inbreeding?? :)

I’ve an extra 5 cows this year so I’ll use him with them first and probably let him out to clean up after AI then.

Pelletstown Estelle that's a blast from the past. I worked in pelletstown years ago

Do you remember that cow? She was a national prize winner at the time.

Yup. Pride and joy. Great learning experience working there.

Pelletstown Cadet (PTT) was used here as an Ai bull in the nineties.
Wasn't a bad bull at all if i remember right.
The docility of many Lim bulls back then wasn't great.

Is there anywhere you can get to see a price list? I forgot all about it being on.
