Make sure you select an EU warehouse so you don't get done for customs and slow delivery times

Doesn't seem to ship to Ireland. When i select the Spanish Warehouse, get a warning that it cannot to Ireland, thats a pity :-(

Don't think there's duty on electronic goods.

Have the Note 9 (not Pro) since before Christmas, nothing negative to say it.

Was bouncing between the Poco and the Redmi 9 a few weeks ago when the MI10t lite 128gb went on sale for £199 so went with that. Ended up at €243 delivered.
No customs are due on mobile phones so only Irish vat was applicable.

Amazon. I got it too, though at £209. (Still worked out at €245 delivery).

The 128gb is out of stock at moment.

There is no duty. There is VAT though topped with handling fee.

Amazon. Worth every penny too, great phone.
I see the 64gb version pop up at a good price more often but it has slower memory although probably not noticeable to most users.

The Redmi phones are shocking. AVOID. You get what you pay for.

I got some work Amazon.com (USA) vouchers so got this with them. I am glad I didn't spend my own money.

    - It takes about 2 seconds for button presses to take effect
    - The battery life depleted within a matter of weeks

I don't like MIUI (Xiaomi Android version) - the ads embedded in the OS and settings all over the place combined with very aggressive battery management left bad taste in my mouth.

But they definitely not that bad as you describe them.

I have a 9S for almost a year now with no complaints.

It did slow down at one point (scrolling) but an update fixed it.

I think yours might be broken.

I've had mine for about 2~3yrs. Charged it last night. Still at 42% now.

That's not normal. I'm using a Redmi Note 8 Pro for not far off two years now, and it's an excellent phone. Battery lasts two days, snappy and fast, and once I turned off the ad settings, I genuinely can't fault it. Serious value for money.

I've an issue setting alarms on the Google clock app - alarm won't sound and just immediately gives a 'missed alarm' notification.

Tried uninstalling the app / clearing cache / disabling battery optimisation etc

The stock MIUI clock will fire an alarm successfully but that won't work with Google assistant

    Anyone experienced similar?

Yes. It is a known feature of Xiaomi implementation. MIUI uses different backend to store alarms and won't trigger those set by Google.
