I've never heard of him - is he a person of note?

Do you know when and where he died?

He was one of the seamen who was commentated in an exhibition in Dublin in 2014! I think he worked during the blockade of 13-14!! I think he died in Liverpool in the mid 40’s! I am after finding out this evening!! He is buried in Liverpool!! Trying to find where!! He was also a naval pilot in Dublin

What do you mean by "Naval pilot"? The term is usually used for someone in the Royal Naval Air Service or its later equivalents. Do you mean he was a harbour pilot in Dublin?
