I have rings to go on it if you want, 40, 44, and 48.

Well now I feel bad, I thought I replied last night and sent a PM to 8valve to say I accepted. It would be far more convenient to give to you Paul but I think since I PM'd 8valve, it should go to him first, if that's OK.

No problem, Cramcycle. It was more of a "want it" than a "need it". I already have two spare BB30 x1 cranks that I'm not using. The Eastons just look so nice!

If I hadn't PMd him, I would take you up on the offer, but it would be sh1tty now They are nice and super light but just to long for me.

Still available, both 8valve and Paul Kiernan have withdrawn from sale. Open to negotiations, other wise it will sit in my shed for a few years.

Hi, I don't have any experience of Easton cranks but is it possible to use this in a english(bsa) thread bb? Would I need a specific easton bb and/or spacers? What size chainring is included? Thanks

What BB is in it, or what cranks do you currently have? Most likely you will be buying a new BB alongside this, the one I have is pressfit so that is no good to you, typically if you pay full whack for an easton one, which are good quality AFAIK, you are looking at another €50.

Something like this, but I'd ask for more info about your own set up now before confirming:

Hi Cram, thanks for the reply. I am currently using a praxis chaninset and praxis bb, it is a english threaded bsa bb. In that link you sent for chain reaction I presume I would need the English thread 24mm bb and not one of the press fit ones. This is for an alu vitus energie cx bike, to be honest the cranks are probably worth more than the frame;)

I don't know the Praxis chainset spindle size, if its a 30mm spindle, this should fit, if its a 24mm spindle eg like Shimano, you will need a new BBso you would be looking at the English thread 30mm in the link I sent.

Cleaned out my shed yesterday, so I am doing a price drop to €100 + postage, available until the end of the month. At the end of the month I have a lot more free time wise and will stick it on the frame and make a run around with it.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 25,531 Mod ✭✭✭✭CramCycle

The run around is now being turned into a trainer bike so these are back on the market. €400+ with little use for €100 including postage, open to negotiations.

Is it a double or single? What are the chainring sizes?

It's a 40t single but since it's the cinch lock, you can make it a double just by buying suitable chainrings for it
