Come across this issue lately, however it was slightly different trigger.
PC would crash on attempt to open any office file - word, excel, PP - not even getting close to print.
To mention, Ricoh printers on the network present.
An update to fix it has been released by MS and should be either installed already or at least waiting in Updates for you.
It effected UTAX printers as well, click Print then BSOD. Had to uninstall 808 and 802 updates on nearly 300 PCs in our organisation.
Windows 10 forced updates is a recipe for disaster.
It is annoying.
You can call me "hater", but Win10 is "F-up" in many ways from my point of view. From visual presentation, that started with 8, to intrusive behavior re updates, privacy, apps and end user settings.... getting worse with every version release.
Only using it as it comes with work laptop and its "the only way to future" - how F-ed it is/will be.
