Somebody who works in finance told me that golf insurance is covered under your house insurance (public liability I believe he meant).
Anyone know if that's true or not?

Afaik some policys may cover theft of clubs from house or car.
but golf insurance will cover you for stolen/lost equipment but more Importantly cover you in case of hitting somebody with a golf ball

With AIG golf related car insurance your clubs and equipment are covered if stolen from a locked boot up to €2k
Your house insurance can also cover your clubs etc but that would be an additional premium under "named all risks"

    Neither will cover personal accident

Plus the hole in one insurance... but they keep changing it.

To be honest, I dont you should be allowed play golf without it in case you damage someone.

It is available now. My current policy has it as well as the equipment and liability.

    €250 incurred on the day.

€100 if you don't and slip away from the bar.

€25 annual fee through the club.
