I’m in early stages of farm transfer wondering- Does the land entitlements stock and machinery on a farm transfer under retirement relief have to be done on the same date or just within the same year.Agricultural advisor said he’s doing one at minute and the signing over of land and application for transfer of entitlements has to happen on same day.But he didn’t know why?I checked with My accountant he thinks no,as long as it’s in same year.
