I have applied for graduate entry pharmacy and got shortlisted for an interview. I had my interview but I think my nerves got the better of me. I had all my answers prepared and I thought I would do so much better than I had. I wanted to ask you a few questions. If the academic staff liked and approved my application is the interview the main thing that will decide whether or not I get a place? And how many places are offered I know they on the website it says 12 has that changed? And do you know how many people usually get shortlisted for an interview? Thank you for your help.

I don't think anyone has come out of an Interview like that thinking they've done well. I'm sure you've did fine. The interviewers know that applicants are nervous and take it into consideration.

I can't say definitively, but I'd imagine all 12 would be filled. They want to maximize fees, especially in RCSI. Points have ballooned for pharmacy recently so I'd image grad entry will have only gotten more competitive. Degree relevence and grade will play an important part of selection. They want to know if they offer you a place are you going to see it through. They don't want to offer you a place only to drop out in 2nd year...

I went the mature entry route in UCC so if you have any other questions feel free to ask :]
