Ghosting on rendered garden walls

I'm having garden walls rendered at the moment.
    4 inch breeze blocks.
After getting up to the scratch coat, the blockwork is showing through.
I asked the lads will this dissapear when the finished coat goes on.
They said they have applied a waterproofer to the cement and that the ghosting will only appear in winter when its damps and dissapear during summer.
They said that as the other side of the rendered garden walls is exposed block (neighbours) there is not much else they can do.

Is it likely to dissapear during summer or would thicker render now get rid of the issue.
I absolutely do not wat to have to pain them, I wan the plain render finish.

    Any thoughts?

One neighbour is likely to plaster their side which is a help.
Should the 'ghosting' disapear during summer months when its dry?
