Is there any laws in making and using a 12g home made pipe gun? Can one license one perhaps?

AFAIK firearms manufacture can only be done by a licenced firearms dealer?

Also not sure about whether proofing is legally required for domestically manufactured firearms...

But presuming you got a firearms dealer to knock one up(good luck on that, liability alone would make them run a mile), and it was marked correctly, and licenced, and presuming there are no proofing requirements here, then sure.

But at that stage you've likely spent more than a used Mossberg or similar.

Never forget, the end goal is zero firearms of any type.

It is illegal to manufacture firearms without the relevant authorisation.
The discussion of design / manufacturing / using such firearms would be a breach of the Shooting Forum Charter- Illegal is Illegal.
