We have a hkc alarm in house wired. I want to fully remove it. It looks like it takes power from a fused box. If I follow the wire from the fused box to the metal alarm box and remove it and the battery. Will that power down the system fully?
Presume after that I can just remove pir/window contacts etc.

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, removing mains and back up battery will down power alarm system.
Outside bell should ring for 15 minutes plus, depending on the external bell installed it may be longer or less. Once down powered you can remove all devices without setting off the alarm system.
