Purchased an xaoimi redmi 9 pro with 30w eu charging plug , would the UK adapter slow down charging time ?

If you mean an adapter to use this in an Irish socket, it will absolutely not make any difference at all.

It’s 230V 50Hz here and on the continent. The only difference is the physical design of the plug. There’s no electrical difference.

If you’re using a different charger, it needs to be to the same spec and support the same type of rapid charging.
