I had my sky router replaced recently and was told I need to post back the old one problem is: where do I post to? do I have to pay for it? Also I have now upgraded my package to Sky Q and a technician is due to call to install this... so can I simply give it to him? and I assume they will also take my current router.
    appreciate advice on this.

They're supposed to send you out a box or something to return it, doesn't seem like they do though. Might be because you're still a customer. I moved from their broadband months ago, kept their TV, and despite the automatic emails telling you how to return it, I never received it.

I'm in the same position as you.

I had a faulty router so they replaced it, I was told by the first guy to go their website and print off the label. It is there, you just have to look. You can get to it via an post as well I think, you just pick Sky as your provider you wish to return to.

However, when I was leaving them for my broadband I asked the technician on the phone and he told me that when you get a replacement for a fault they assume the first one is broken and so don't want it back. Don't know how true that is but I've since gotten a parcel automatically sent to me for the second one to return in so it seems he might be right.
