Got cheapo ones a few years aho on aliexpress just to see and obviously not great, but only abour E5 each, better than rubber slide on ones on bike anyway

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32884422967.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.25624c4dUJffns

I moslty do road cycling, with odd canal etc

Not sure on price, just throwing it out there to see want the general trail of thought on handlebar grips would be

    Thanks

You have two contact points on your mountain bike - your pedals and your grips, so they are somewhat important :)

Because of this, pedals and grips are very personal choices for people. If these are working for you, then rock on!

    Buy cheap, pay twice.

If just doing canal spins get a nice comfy set of Ergon ones.

I use Renthal kevlar grips on my MTB as they the right amount of sticky and super hard wearing. I used the soft compound previously which were super grippy and soft but got chewed up by my gloves.

I hear good things about the ODI grips which I may try on my next bike.

Yeah fair point, I guess I am a bit more gravity orientated!

I would highly recommend these for the type of cycling you outline.

They are good quality, are easy to fit and are very comfortable.
They are quite a bit cheaper than the Ergon equivalent.
