Focus St Line retrofit front and rear sensors

The 19/20 ST line comes as standard with reversing camera. Front and rear sensors were optional. If you buy one without, how massive of a job is it to retrofit. Its my parents car and we fairly pedantic so would basically want it the same way as would've come from Ford; I've seen some retrofit sensors on cars in the past and are like something out a fisher price box with a weak beep. Its prob a job for a Ford dealer but how big of a job is it. Would prob need programming I imagine to have linked with the reversing camera; Circa €500?

This may or may not help:

This crowd might do proper or cheap aftermarket install

Parking sensors typically need to be body colour so need to be painted or bought correct colour. Bumper or panels need to be drilled , potentially need to remove panels.

I would only go to someone who has done this before to exact same car.

Its probably not worth the effort if you have a reversing camera. Just buy the right car when changing. I find the beeps slow to update when moving fast and don't really help unless reversing straight slowly up to say another car. When actually moving quick camera and windows/mirrors help more.

Thanks; I'd be inclined to agree about only going to someone who has done it before, finding that someone could be hard as I doubt even Ford dealers do such retrofits. I've heard of ICE so might ring them, never dealt with them. Challenge I have is, any company or garage you ring, they all maintain " oh we do the official Ford job" and it will be identical to as if from factory but like you say, I'd be fastidious about simple things like 'sensors being exactly straight' or slower to respond compared to the factory original ones. Have you a focus 19 model yourself?
