How Do You Like To Unwind?

Wondering how users on boards, like to unwind after hard days work or activities?

Personally, I come home. Fire up the Foreman grill. Get a hot meal. Get into my pyjamas. Turn on some TV recordings (eg. Big Bang, Blue Bloods). Finally I used to crack open a few bottles/cans of non-alco before I gave them up. Looking to replace them with something new.

Wondering what exactly is your wind-down routine?

You take one end and gradually loop it away from the rest. It helps to have some length in your fingernails for dealing with tiny knots.

I don't like the netflix ones a all. They're too dragged out and sensationalised. Some of the ones on crime and investigation are good tho. 'Fear Thy Neighbour' is good.

Unless the other end of those nipple clamps are connected to a car battery, you are doing it wrong

Lately it's bodily searches at customs posts.....

Arlene Foster attempting to smuggle some British Bacon into Larne. She's escorted into a room where Mary Lou McDonald greets her 'as gaeilge' and then snaps on a big rubber glove.

Walking helps clear the head especially now when I'm working from home.

I like to listen to music and podcasts and watch a good film.

When I go to bed, I like to read for half an hour then I'm out like a light.

In order of preference: Meditation, yoga, swimming, running, dog walking. Follow with a hot shower, a nice meal, a long chat, an early night with the OH and some more light exercise.

Some of my loved activities have stopped because of Covid but there are other things.
    I spend time with himself.
Meditation and listening to sleep stories.
I like to look at all the pins I have saved on Pinterest and curate my boards.
I read a lot but these days it's articles and newsy things rather than books.
I get in to bed wearing nothing but my big fluffy dressing gown and a glass of wine and my shows for company.
A takeaway coffee from Butlers and a stroll.

Netflix documentaries are just desperate..yeah, exactly, just sensationalised and chasing the 'making a murderer' thing again..
I just stay away from them as a rule now..

    As for unwinding..
I like to play the piano, or produce music at times..
I like to play 'go', the oldest and deepest board game in the world..
Read at times..Binge watch TV/the YouTube..
    That's about it really..

Badedas Bath Gel, I love the scent of that :)

On weekdays I like to unwind in front of a peat briquette fire in a hoody, tracksuit bottoms and socks with a mug of nice Pukka brand tea while watching something on TG4 or Netflix. On the weekend I like to go for a long walk along the coast or around the town. In the evening I would do the above but with a nice whiskey and a red ale instead of a tea.

Most of my ways to unwind have been put on hold for the pandemic. Like martial arts.

At the moment I am delving ever deeper into cooking which I find very relaxing.

Also my friends bought my a high end bow - so I have been shooting that a lot.

15 mins on the rack does me.

Netflix, Spotify, play guitar, sport on tv, PS4, a walk in the park, annoy my girlfriend..

I find 45-60 minutes in the evening on my exercise bike on a low resistance is nice... it has a tablet holder and Bluetooth so i just stick in the earphones and watch a couple of episodes of something on the iPad or have a Spotify binge...maybe some weights before bed...

I want to get out of this pandemic happier, healthier and fitter... luckily it’s all going to plan, so far...
