Im looking for the card that RSA had a few years back where you slot it into your tyre and see where it lies on the card, green or red etc. Cant find any in local garages and when i contacted RSA they said they dont have any spare. Any idea where i can get hold of one? Thanks.

Tbh if youre down to measuring to the millimetre it's probably time to buy new ones

The tyres usually have wear indicators on them. If the wear indicator is in contact with the road, it's time to replace.

Not the card type but you can buy a tyre tread depth gauge from any motor factors. Filling stations often sell them too.

Use a €1 coin to measure tread depth.
Place the coin into the tyre grooves. If you can see the gold rim it means your tread depth is less than 3mm and you should consider replacing your tyres.

that's what I do, takes only a second to run a finger round the tread, barely have to look.
