Just in case anyone is interested, this would be a good place to share the most common mental health disorder triggers for people to look out for...

In order of frequency of occurrence...

    1. Substance abuse.
    2. Undealt with trauma from the past.
    3. Loneliness.
    4. Loss of a loved one.
    5. Bullying.
    6. Mortgage/rent issues.

With nearly 19% of irish people experiencing a mental health disorder at some stage of their lives.

Less than 50% reach out and talk to someone. Usually because of fear and/or embarrassment.

If your experiencing any of these issues or know someone who is.

Contact your GP or ring the Samaritans anonymously at the number provided on Samaritans.ie

    Stay safe.

    Mod Note

Thank you for your post MouseMan01, which is very well meaning.

Personal Issues however is a forum where posters come looking for advice on an issue that is impacting them. Just to also say there are a number of stickies at the top of the forum with helpful numbers posters can consider using if they are struggling.

As your thread is not seeking advice - I'll close it here.

    Thanks

    HS
