Low water pressure

We recently had our bathroom renovated and the bath was taken out and replaced with a walk in shower. The original piping leading into the bathroom was the old 3/4 inch copper and this was replaced by 1/2 inch in the hot press where the bathroom water supply comes from. Since this work was done the water pressure both hot and cold in the bathroom wash hand basin and toilet cistern is really low. It there any sort of pump that can be added to boost the pressure, would something like a shower pump be suitable?
    Any advice appreciated.

Not very wise IMO to replace 3/4" with 1/2" as the flow will be badly affected.
1/2" copper has a ID of ~ 13.38MM & 3/4" has a ID of ~19MM so the flowrate at the same (dynamic) pressure will only be 50% of that with 3/4" piping so if you require the original flowrate you will have to increase the pressure by a factor of ~ 2 so you will require a 3 bar pump to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately the original pipe size can't be reinstated as it's under the floor and I agree reducing the pipe size was a bad move so I'll need to boost it with some sort of pump if possible.

We have a variation on this theme.

Both Bathroom and Kitchen redone, each with sexy new mixer taps.
Bathroom now with Hot-press pump fed shower (noisy Grundfoss).
Kitchen cold water flow is fine, but Hot Water flow is awful.
Bathroom Hot flow is fine, but Cold Water flow is awful.
Neither of these issues existed in the old arrangement,ie seperate Hot & Cold taps.
The flat profile Kitchen mixer tap has an "abode" brand name on it,

Is this solveable with minimal tearing asunder ?
