I have a real bee in my bonnet over the so called essential businesses that are allowed to trade but refuse to open their toilets to the customers. Woodies is one that really gets under my skin....can go in and pay through the nose for a length of 2x1 and flute around the store pawing everything but no access to the toilets....I think that toilets should be open if the store is open........the smell of urine can be stomach churning in the outside plants area otherwise:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Is it really an essential journey? Could you not just use a bottle in the car?

Curl out a Gordon Brown in the middle of Woodies' car park, put a picture of it on Facebewk, then tag the post with the National Party #scamdemic #openthejacks #opendefecationprotest.

I work in essential retail and our jacks is open to customers, but you need us to give you the key, and it's a small town. But it's the same jacks we employees and I wouldn't want it to be used by large amounts of randomers like a big store like a woodies could have in a single day in an urban area.

Despite what you say about being able to go around paw items etc, if you are in view of staff they can make sure you are masked up and unless you are licking the items you arent spreading your fluids about the place.

There are tons more germs in a bathroom than in the public areas with products sold, simple as that.

Was caught short a few times during lockdown 1 when I was in Bandon, no public toilets anywhere, looking for the odd clump of trees on the way home. :)
