Early Spring E-Racing Classic league powered by Velotec

Velotec Sportswear is partnering with a number of Irish clubs to bring their traditional Spring classic races online, as races had to be cancelled or rescheduled this year. RGT offers an alternative of hosting the races online on or near their traditional race dates

The clubs are Panduit Carrick Wheelers, Carlow CC, Drogheda Wheelers, Gorey CC and Spellman Dublin Port.

Using the RGT Cycling platform, we have been able to take the actual courses used in these early season races. Riders will be able to compete on the actual race routes on the RGT Cycling app, taking in all the climbs, turns and descents on the courses and racing against cyclists from all over the country.

To participate, register on RGT Cycling, download the 2 apps and then go to the Panduit Carrick Wheelers, Carlow CC, Drogheda Wheelers, Gorey CC and Spellman Dublin Port Facebook pages from Friday the 5th of March and copy and paste the entry code into RGT. There is a seperate code per race, so if you intend to race the series make sure to enter all the races.

Points will be awarded for each race in the 5 race series, starting with
Panduit Carrick Wheelers, Bobby Power Memorial Race on Wednesday the 17th of March at 11:00.
Carlow CC's Ras Ceatharlach on Sunday the 21st of March at 11:00am.
Drogheda Wheelers Boyne Valley GP follows on Sunday the 28th of March at 11:00.
Easter Sunday the 4th of April at 11:00, Gorey CC hosts the route of stage 2 of the Gorey 3 day.

Finally in what could be the deciding round, we have a 27km criterium circuit around Dublin Port, on Wednesday the 7th of April at 20:00.

Velotec will be presenting indoor trainer jerseys for the highest scoring male and female riders at the end of the 5 rounds. All participants whether they take part in one round or all 5 will get 10% off the Velotec online store, by entering the code SPRINGLEAGUE at checkout.
