Running USB cable behind a dry wall

    Hi,

I have 2 USB cables that run from a plug in a power socket. It runs over a doorframe and down a wall to a mounting box with 2 female USB ports. To make it neater, I'd like to run the cables for about 2m behind the dry wall and then mount the box to the wall.

I was thinking of housing the cables (for the portion that they will be behind the wall) in some kind of cable sheath.

Would I be breaking any regulations doing this?

    Stephen.
