How do I move all photos from Mac to iCloud?

Hi All,

I purchased 50GB on iCloud so that I can permanently move storage from my Macbook Air to the iCloud. Specifically I want to transfer all the photos stored on my Mac

I can't seem to get it to work. It's still showing 5GB used up, whereas I have the about 20GB of photos. There's two picture libraries.

The iPhoto library is 5GB and the Photos library is a bit over 12 GB. I think the iPhoto is already on iCloud. I've followed the tick boxes options, but nothing is happening.

But how do I move everything to the iCloud?
