Anyone know any of the quieter places around the city for this.

Thinking of doing it mornings when there are less cars around. If it's a busy spot then forget about it. Like people recommend the phoenix but was there today and too many cars around. Maybe I went at the busy times (2pm) but if anyone knows when it's quieter then great

I need a quietish but big enough spot basically to do as much combinations and tasks as I can up to 3rd gear.

Trying to get some experience while it is quiet due to lockdown.

    Any help appreciated

not a specific answer but more a suggestion - any big industrial estates close to where you are.

This is it the thing. Not much no. I'm out round kilcock, looking at heading to Maynooth but anywhere I've seen parks/carparks are either private property or car parks that will eventually start filling up. Some others simply aren't big enough. GAA pitches are closed off with covid

I will be practising in a Crafter van and was hoping if I head nearer to town I might find more options especially weekends when you'd largely expect these places to be quieter

If you're insured for the road then the industrial estates is a good call, especially at weekends. Otherwise try some of the retail parks that have very few outlets open, they tend to have massive spaces not being used currently.

Well I'm out of the city in no mans land. Town where I work aint going to do it, nor would I want doing in town either.

So I'm honestly going to be lost without the local knowledge or advice, especially these kinds of places that aren't been used. Or when they're quiet etc etc

So that's kinda why I'm asking for the bit of local knowledge

What about car parks attached to train stations. Less people commuting at moment.
