Hi, Struggling to find this out. Say my health insurance policy covers €30 for a €50 medical appointment. Can the remaining €20 be included on the medical expenses end of year tax return as you paid for it out of your own pocket?

Struggling to find this out.

Say my health insurance policy covers €30 for a €50 medical appointment.

Can the remaining €20 be included on the medical expenses end of year tax return as you paid for it out of your own pocket?

Yes you can claim 20% of the 20 euro left.
