Neff over clock keeps resetting (and making a sizzling noise)

My Neff electric over has a digital clock and it keeps randomly resetting back to 0:00 as if there had been a power cut and making a sizzling noise constantly until I set the time right again. After a while it goes again. Any ideas? The sizzling sound is horrific so hopefully it might be an easy fix - I can manage without…

After a while it goes again. Any ideas? The sizzling sound is horrific so hopefully it might be an easy fix - I can manage without the timer!

Most likely a dodgy relay within the clock pcb , it is possible to loop it out but easiest solution is a new clock.
