When subscribing, "No Email" should be default

Unfortunately not at the moment on the desktop site, you will have to choose 'no email notification' from the pop up each time you click to follow a new thread.

On the touch site though when you follow a thread it defaults to whatever you have chosen for when you post in a thread so it may be 'no email notification' in that case. You can check what you have chosen here: https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/profile.php?do=editoptions under Messaging & Notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode.
