    Hi. I'm wondering how much it will cost to sit in a stationary taxi whilst waiting to be tested for covid.

    It depends on where you live and HSE will advise and make appointment...

    it's 40c a minute daytime rate, or about €24 per hour.

    though if you're going to get a test, a taxi driver may not wish to take the fare.

    Thanks for reply. I'm only being tested cos I'm having a procedure coming up. The testing will be done at a private hospital.
