Price per square foot

    Just a quick question. Speaking to a builder about prices and he said building works are at current €200-€300 per square foot. Based in cork city. Would that price per square foot be fairly spot on at the moment?

    extensions are very site and design specific, so theres no such "rule of thumb" pricewise.

    Yep. €2k-€2500 per square meter here in Dublin at least.
    No idea what that is in square feet sorry.

    1500-2000ex vat a sq meter depending on what spec your wanting.

    We always use 3.3x3.3 = 10.89. divide the sq meter price by this to get the sq ft. I know it's slightly out but this is what I say when anyone asks me the sq ft price since I always work in meters.
