I'm going to move abroad for some time, how long will tescomobile keep my number without topup(prepay) and i can still receive sms with it?

6 months according to https://www.tescomobile.ie/help-centre/prepay/cancelling-your-prepay-account

Could you top up online with €5 every five months to keep it alive.
